2009 Call for Proposals
We invite you to submit a proposal for Teaching for a Change 2009, June 15-17, 2009 in Flagstaff, AZ. We are currently accepting proposals for 90-minute sessions and/or Roundtables that are appealing to higher education faculty, faculty developers and/or administrators. The proposal deadline is November 9, 2008. Facilitators will be notified by December 10, 2008. Neither honoraria nor expenses will be paid. Proposals may be submitted via fax, e-mail or mail. 90-Minute Session		Roundtable
The most successful workshops share five basic characteristics: Participants are encouraged to share experiences with each other and tell their stories. The content is well researched and available as a handout. Participants have an opportunity to actively apply the learning to practical, relevant situations. The session is appealing to the visual as well as auditory learner. Session content can be applied by participants in their own teaching context(s).		Have a hot topic or cool exercise to share in a 15-minute round-table chat? Conference Keepsakes: This is a great opportunity for new and experienced facilitators to showcase an interesting activity, test the water with a new practice or concept, or offer other little treasures for your colleagues to hunt up. Groups will rotate from table to table every 20 minutes. Complete the following information to submit a proposal.
